Collective Impact
As the backbone organization for our
region’s homeless response system, Heading Home leans into cross-sector collaboration, working with partners on housing-focused solutions and strengthening the strategic use of real-time,
actionable data to drive lasting change.
TOGETHER IS BETTER
Rooted in collaboration, Heading Home strives to bring homelessness in our community to a functional zero. By partnering with other agencies and organizations around a shared vision, our community can offer better support services to those experiencing homelessness.
BUILT FOR ZERO
Heading Home and our partners joined Built for Zero in 2022, becoming Indiana’s first and only region to be part of this national network of support to decrease homelessness through a data-driven, Housing First approach. Our core team is working with BFZ to ensure that our community’s decisions are made using the most accurate information possible. This work includes a public data dashboard to show our progress in reducing homelessness.
Heading Home Impact Report
Heading Home is building an ethos of support and participation with organizations across South Central Indiana. Our 2025 Impact Report details how we are working to strengthen housing security in our community though a unified strategy.
