KISI Student Case Competition

IU students propose multi-prong anti-stigma and educational campaign for Heading Home outreach.

The 2023 IU Kelley Institute for Social Impact student case competition is a wrap, with TM Consulting named as the winning team!

IU students Muntasir Munaf, Madeline Kosc, Mahima Duvvur and Teja Basireddy

Muntasir Munaf, Madeline Kosc, Mahima Duvvur and Teja Basireddy proposed a multi-prong set of marketing and community engagement events for Heading Home, including a series of events during Hunger & Homeless Awareness Week in November 2023.

The proposal also includes ads on Bloomington Transit buses and a mural competition for local artists.

Heading Home will receive $10,000 to implement their proposal.

More than 100 students applied to participate in the 5th Annual Kelley Impact Competition, with 19 teams submitting proposals. The proposals were evaluated by more than 30 judges, including Heading Home staff, community members and IU faculty and staff.

We’re excited to work with this team to increase awareness of the work being done to address housing insecurity in this region and to combat the stigma of homelessness.
