Heading Home Wins State Award

S.P.A.R.K. award honors innovation, community partnerships

Heading Home of South Central Indiana has received a statewide award that honors organizations going above and beyond to serve Hoosiers experiencing homelessness through innovation, strong community partnerships, and meaningful outcomes.

The S.P.A.R.K. Award — Serving with Partners to Achieve Real Kinesis — was presented by the Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority (IHCDA) at the Indiana Housing Conference on September 2, 2026.

From local service providers and landlords to volunteers, faith communities, healthcare partners, government agencies, people with lived experience, and community leaders, our work is stronger because we don’t do it alone. This award belongs to our incredible team and to every partner who continues to show up, think creatively, and believe that housing security is something our entire region can work toward together.

We’re grateful for the incredible partners who make this work possible. We truly are stronger together!
