Celebrating regional partnerships to strengthen housing security in South Central Indiana

Thanks to all who attended Heading Home’s Oct. 20, 2022 Stronger Together event at the Woolery Mill, where more than 100 people gathered to celebrate partnerships and work being done to strengthen housing security in Monroe County and the surrounding region!

Speakers included Mayor John Hamilton, Monroe County Commissioner Penny Githens, Efrat Feferman of United Way of Monroe County, Tina Peterson of the Community Foundation of Bloomington and Monroe County, Emily Pike of the South Central Housing Network, Tatiana Wheeler, Heading Home’s Assistant Director of Housing Security, and Mary Morgan, Heading Home’s Director of Housing Security.

The highlight of the event was a “pass the mic” session, when people were invited to share their agency’s success stories, cheered on by the crowd. Thanks to everyone who attended this uplifting celebration!
