Cross-Agency Training:
Tools for Housing-Centered Case Management
June 1 session explored building trust with clients in crisis
and trauma-informed conflict resolution.
More than 40 people attended a June 1 training event hosted by Heading Home of South Central Indiana in partnership with the South Central Housing Network. The event — Tools for Housing-Centered Case Management — featured Leon Gordon of the Bloomington Housing Authority and Chase Techentin of New Hope for Families.
Leon lead a session about building trust with clients in crisis. Chase’s session focused on trauma-informed conflict resolution.
The presentations were followed by break-out discussions, as participants from agencies in Monroe, Morgan and Lawrence counties shared their own experiences and insights.
